Parade SDE n'a jamais été dans les cartons sauf en tant que projet possible sous ère Comerica , M.BITTON l'avais déjà confirmé ....donc rien n'a été fait depuis ...Howe a été remercié..idem pour Tudahl il y a 2 ans , personne de compétent/connaisseur aux manettes des archives , une grosse rumeur de conflit persistant entre l'Estate et Warner sur les droits du matériel inédit de l'ère Warner, l'amateurisme , le mépris et l'avidité de McMillan/Spicer , 1 com chaotique et cheap etc.......à moins d'1 miracle que nous ne verrions pas venir....n'attendez rien de bien excitant pour le Deluxe potatoes Parade même couplé à 1 DETROIT ou PARIS Live en CD bonus ....la déception restera malgré tout IMMENSE +++++ !!

Ensuite on imagine bien le truc : 2 cds dont 1 avec l'Album remasterisé et 1 cd avec les faces B et les versions Extented, et basta, au revoir chez vous !
Non seulement je les trouve nuls , pas très honnêtes ... mais en plus ce sont des feignasses (dixit à la dernière Celebration " les Coffrets Deluxe c'est cher... et c'est trop fastidieux à élaborer" !)
Résultat : ce sont les 40 ans de Parade, les 10 ans de sa mort... Et ils vont sortir de la "merde" ! On ne méritait vraiment pas ces Clowns ! L'Héritage de Prince ne mérite pas d'être piétiné ainsi !
(Tristesse et colère pour ma part d'assister à tout ça !)
Heureusement Schkopi est là pour relever le niveau et célébrer ces 10 ans comme il se doit !

Vu les déclarations de McMillan et consorts, et la sortie précédente (ATTIAD), je n'y crois pas trop.
Le seul mince espoir que j'ai, c'est que Parade était un projet d'une bien plus grande dimension que ATWIAD, et il a eu un retentissement plus large (film, tournée, vidéo live diffusée à la TV). Certains de ces éléments sont déjà considérés comme "officiels" (le Birthday Show notamment). Et puis, il y a Kiss, Mountains et Sometimes It Snows In April, trois très grandes chansons princières, largement connues, y compris du grand public, qui pourrait donc être tenté d'acheter un beau coffret assez complet, là où ATWIAD pouvait faire un peu "niche"...

Pourquoi pas ? Mais ce n'est pas leur genre de se caler sur ce qu'à fait L'Estate précédent... Vu qu'ils ont passé 5 ans à les critiquer avant e reprendre la main ! J'espère surtout qu'ils ne vont pas nous sortir un album tiré des inédits de Diamond and Love (histoire de pas trop se faire chier...) alors que ça a déjà fuité l'an passé !!!

Ben moi puisque j'étais à Paisley Park le jour des Q/A le 20 avril et que Londell McMillan/Charles Spicer ont parlé du concert de Sheffield 93 qui aurait dû sortir le jour du Record Store Day mais qui a été annulé à cause du pressage qui n'était pas bon.
Il a annoncé qu'il allait finalement sortir avec le Love Symbol deluxe en 2027 (enfin c'est ce que j'ai compris).
Je ne sais pas quelle est la source de cette "rumeur" à part moi

Prince fans, brace yourselves: The attorney who helped build Prince’s legacy says the late musician’s music vault is vast, and the world is finally about to hear what’s inside.
A new album of original, previously unreleased Prince material is coming this summer, according to L. Londell McMillan, the attorney who has been central to managing and protecting the late artist’s estate.
“We’re going to have new songs this summer,” McMillan confirmed exclusively to The Scoop. “This is going to be new songs.”
When pressed on how many tracks fans can expect, McMillan was coy but said there would be more than eight new songs and that it could be a double album.
The announcement, while short on specifics, carries enormous weight.
Prince, who died on April 21, 2016, from an accidental fentanyl overdose at his Paisley Park compound in Minnesota at the age of 57, was one of the most prolific recording artists in the history of popular music.
Prince recorded a ‘staggering’ amount of music
He is said to have recorded thousands of songs during his lifetime, the vast majority of which were locked away in a climate-controlled vault beneath Paisley Park and never shared with the public.
McMillan says the scope of what exists is staggering and largely unknown to even the most devoted fans.
“What Prince put out publicly is just maybe one one-hundredth of what he actually made,” McMillan said.
“Albums, singles, music, platforms, video, concert footage. We have an obligation to put that out to satisfy not only his fans, but to satisfy Prince, who wanted to share that music. But he wanted it to be put out when it’s right, and he wanted it to be preserved for the long haul.”
That sense of stewardship, McMillan says, has guided every decision about the estate’s releases since Prince’s death and is why the rollout has been deliberate rather than rushed.
“Prince is Mozart,” McMillan said plainly. “You don’t just throw it out like he’s some random.”
It is not the estate’s first foray into the vault. McMillan noted that over 190 previously unreleased sound recordings have already been made available, along with several box sets. But this summer’s release, he suggests, is different as it is a proper album of new music.
Prince spent decades in a fierce, very public battle to own and control his masters, famously writing “SLAVE” on his face during a dispute with Warner Bros. and changing his name to an unpronounceable symbol in protest.
“He wanted it to be preserved for the long haul,” McMillan repeated. “We take that seriously.”

So people are asking for, so much more unreleased music, but many of them, haven't even bought the box sets to actually access and listen to the unreleased music that has already been released. The audio has been mastered (and presumably, in many cases, mixed) by Chris James, the engineer who has been responsible for the various Prince Atmos Mixes that have been made available in recent years. James has clearly earned the role of ‘trusted technician’ when it comes to mix/mastering projects related to Prince (SDE spoke to Chris last year about his Purple Rain Atmos Mix).

L'interview postée par Purple Man 1992 parle d'autres coffrets à part Parade donc ça va peut être accélérer. Croisons les doigts. À condition, que cela soit plus que le ATWIAD

Londell dit que Bobby Z et Lisa Coleman travaillent dessus, ce qui en soi est déjà une très bonne nouvelle, et ça me laisse espérer le projet d'une réédition plus sérieuse que pour ATWIAD. Après, qu'est-ce qui sortira de ce travail sur les archives ? Qu'est-ce qui sera retenu ? Pour ça il faudra attendre.
On a déjà l'annonce d'une compilation d'inédits divers et variés. Au regard de la situation de ces dernières années, cela tient du miracle. Je suis content.
