THE LAST PRINCE PARTY ... EVER!
most ppl don't realise how much work, time and energy is involved in putting on a prince party, organising venue, promotions, advertising, posters, flyers, music, videos, travel, accomodation, etc
on top of this there r the costs and outlay involved in preparing everything, and not knowing if those costs will b recouped, or if any1 will turn up and make ure efforts worthwhile. many a party has resulted in the organisers being well out of pocket, and 2 make matters worse, the fans think us guys r coining it in
thru the past few years interest in prince fan gatherings in the uk has been dwindling, and recent events have either been cancelled or suffered by lack of support by the uk fanbase.
2 make matters worse, intial interest being reasonably high enuff 2 warrant time spent in putting on an event, only 4 the majority of the supporters 2 pull out last minute, or not follow thru with expectations has resulted in making a mockery out of the uk fan community
rather than end things in the uk on a low point, as the london dawn experience parties have all been a massive success, with fans travelling from literally all 4 corners of the world 2 attend in high numbers, i think the upcoming prince weekender in london on 28/29 october is the perfect time 2 bring every1 2gether 4 1 last time and have the mother of all prince parties, b4 hanging up my headphones. if any1 else wants 2 continue the tradition after this party, and can professionally organise everything and guarantee a good turnout, i may b persuaded 2 change my mind, but 1st i need 2 know every1 appreciates the work and effort done by all, and turns up in force 2 support the dawn weekender and ensure its continued success
as far as i know, nothing has ever been done on quite the scale as this fan party, no other fan organisation in the world 2 my knowledge has ever put on a 2 day party 4 any artist, nevermind prince. again, as far as i know, no other fan organisation has ever put on an event with 3 simultaneous rooms of entertainment, so putting on a weekender with 3 floors on each nite is an unprecedented event
just check out these specs
1 party
2 dj's
2 dancefloors
2 nites
3 days
3 floors
32 hours of music
32 hours of videos
this is a huge undertaking. i know it can b popular, i know it can b a big success, i'm sure it will, but can u guys ensure i'm not mistaken?
we need all ure help 2 ensure this becomes the greatest prince party in the world... ever - b a part of it, don't miss out, or it could b ure last chance 2 party like it's 1999 (and groan at such an overused phrase)
