Just heard from a friend at the beeb that Prince has been scheduled for the last show. No interview, only a performance - records 17th June - airs 18th June.

Prince serait programmé pour un live -pas d'interview- pour la dernière du "Friday Night with Jonathan Ross" sur la BBC1. Enregistrement le 17 Juin et diffusion le 18 Juin.

A ce qu'il parait l'album sera aussi distribué dans un journal/magazine britannique (http://prince.org/msg/7/336135?jump=229 ... sg_7465273)...Ce live viendrait donc promouvoir la sortie de l'album ( Ebony magazine prévu vers le 13 ). D'autant plus que ce sera la dernière émission de Jonathan Ross (cf Jay Leno) = forte audience (?)

Rien entre le 13 et le 18 Juillet entre Linz et Lisbonne pour le moment...

Non, je ne pense pas car il s'agit d'un show aux UK, pas aux US. Au fait, ce show est généralement enregistré le jour d'avant, donc, il serait à Londres déjà le 15 juillet.

Depuis quelques temps, le show est enregistré le Mardi (le 13 donc...). Il se pourrait que pour la dernière, ils soient en LIVE ou retour à l'ancienne méthode, donc le jeudi comme Chris M le mentionne étant donné que le 13, Prince joue à Linz :
"The show is usually recorded in Studio TC4 at the BBC Television Centre in London. The house band 4 Poofs and a Piano provide musical backing. The show used to be recorded on a Thursday, but since his return from the Russell Brand incident, it is now recorded on a Tuesday, leading to the show having much less topical humor."

Jonathan Ross is to end his career at the BBC with a high - an interview with Prince, according to reports.

The reclusive singer will feature on Wossy's last BBC chat show in July.

Talking to website Comic News Insider, the Daily Mirror reported that the 49-year-old also revealed he would sign with another broadcaster soon, saying: "I've got something lined up but I'm not talking about it."

Prince is said to be singing but not doing an interview on the final send-off, which will end Jonathan's long career at the Beeb.

Ah oui exact, autant pour moi, je croyais que c'était une émission américaine.
Ca sent plus la date annoncée au dernier moment pour le 15 ou le 16 dans une petite salle à Londres alors... façon Paris 1999.

Hello people.

I work for the BBC and I called one of the Production Co-ordinators this morning, to find out about tickets.
I was told the team had a production meeting this morning in which they were told Prince will definitely not be making an appearance.
The PC said there had been some talks and the team was excited, but as of this morning, Prince is not scheduled to appear.
I hope things change, but that's what I was told today.
